Work-Related Stress Assessment
Regulatory requirements and DVR
Work-related stress assessment is mandatory under Legislative Decree 81/2008 and must be integrated into the Risk Assessment Document (DVR). A structured approach transforms it from a bureaucratic requirement into an opportunity for organizational risk prevention.
I do not treat symptoms. I work on the structures that make decisions sustainable.
Context
As a registered psychologist, I work as part of a team with the Health and Safety Manager (internal or external), HR, and the occupational physician. Work-related stress assessment is not just a checklist to be completed, but an integrated effort among qualified professionals to prevent concrete organizational risks.
A serious process requires a combination of quantitative data (validated questionnaires), objective indicators (turnover, absences, complaints), and qualitative listening (focus groups, interviews). Only then does a faithful picture of the sources of stress and priority areas for intervention emerge.
