In one of my recent articles I discussed critical thinking extensively with you and how I believe this is a peculiarity that will remain exclusively human… but…

I decided to conduct an experiment: I asked two AI agents to read my book, “The Artificial Intelligence Made Easy“, published in English, and to converse with each other discussing the central themes. The challenge was clear: would they be able to leverage critical thinking to analyze the book’s ideas? Could they converse like two human beings, ask each other questions, and use a critical and reflective approach?
The result astounded me. The dialogue that emerged is something I would have never imagined: profound reflections, unexpected connections, and a level of analysis that, I admit, left me speechless. I cannot help but wonder: is critical thinking truly an exclusively human skill? After listening to this extraordinary conversation, I am no longer so certain. This result challenges all my convictions.
In 42 minutes, you will obtain a synthesis that is not merely a summary of the book published in 2019, but much more: an articulated reflection that almost seems like critical thinking… does it only seem so? Listening to it made me reflect deeply on the very nature of critical thinking and on the potential of artificial intelligence.
